Does LedgerLitz replace Tally or Vyapar?

It is a practical offline alternative for many SMBs that need GST books, party ledgers, and FIFO stock without a heavy desktop install. It is not a full Tally enterprise suite (no payroll or full TDS suite).

Where does my accounting data live?

Live books stay in browser IndexedDB on your device. You can create AES-encrypted .ledgerlitz backups. There is no mandatory cloud sync of live books.
